Midway through the Christmas build-up, the band had a very busy Sunday.
After many requests from Milton Keynes and further afield we had to prioritise our regular performances and returned to Milton Keynes Village for the Christmas Lantern Parade.
While the rest of the band was in the cold playing for the Parks Trust, 6 players were keeping warm with hot chocolate and mulled wine inside at the village hall.
After entertaining the arrivals with a few carols the local school choir sang before the Christmas window light switch on and the parade followed the bicycle sleigh around the green.
After playing some more carols outside for the crowd to sing, we finished with “We wish you a merry Christmas” before we got a go on the sleigh too!
